Richard X Bennett started inspiring participants at Dance for PD®'s very first Brooklyn class in 2001, and he hasn't stopped.
For this companion album to Volume 5 of our At Home DVD series, Richard has composed new music for a small ensemble of musicians that works perfectly for Dance for PD classes and all dance and movement classes that demand a clear structure and supportive rhythm.
This album is features beautifully-rendered extended tracks that draw from Richard's background in jazz and in musical traditions from India and Indonesia. Colin Fowler, music director of the Mark Morris Dance Group, adds two tracks to support Mark Morris repertory selections included in Volume 5: The Argument (music by Robert Schumann) and L'Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato (music by George Frideric Handel).
Purchase this album today and receive unlimited access to stream or download Richard's groovy, inspiring compositions and Colin's arrangements. After purchase, you'll receive a download with easy, three-step instructions for accessing the album.
